Once again, this year's Amity Township Harvest Fest will include Daniel Boone Boone Optimist Club's Craft Market, featuring crafters and direct sales vendors. The Craft Market hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Harvest Fest is at the Daniel Boone Area High School, Daniel Boone Middle School, 1845 Weavertown Road, Douglassville, PA 19518.

Each year our Halloween Parade offers thrills, chills, laughs, and, of course, candy. Join us for this year's Halloween parade on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., at the Amity Recreation Facilities at Lake Drive.
***Please note: Costume/Group/Float Registration: 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.***

Congratulations to the 2024 Daniel Boone Scholarship Program recipients! They are (from left): Lilah Herold, $1,000 Performing and Visual Arts Scholarship; Amanda Spotts; $1000 Performing and Visual Arts Scholarship, Marin Krause, $2,000 James C. Erdman Medical Scholarship; and Hannah Hudddleson, $2,000 Members Memorial Scholarship.
All four recipients are members of the Daniel Boone Area High School Class of 2024.

Congratulations to Ally Devine, a junior at Berks Catholic High School, who is our 2023-24 Club- level Essay Contest winner. This year's theme is: "Optimism: How it Connects Us."
As DBOC's first-place winner, she earned a $150 scholarship and will now compete against other Clubs' winners for the District-level scholarship.
Congratulations Ally and good luck at the District level!
Ally received a plaque commemorating her winning essay from DBOC's Essay Contest Chairperson Anne Pyle.
